Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how TransferPals handles personal data when you use the TransferPals football networking and recruitment service.
Launch Detail Required: Before public launch, replace this notice with the legal name of the TransferPals operator and a public privacy contact email. The service is operated from Ireland.
1. Information We Process
We may process account and authentication information, profile information, football history and achievements, location information you choose to publish, profile photos, posts, likes, comments, messages, recruitment opportunities, saved items, reports, support requests, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
2. Public Profile Information
Information you add to your football profile may be visible to other TransferPals users. This can include your display name, player or coach details, town or county, football history, achievements, availability, posts, profile photo, gender, birthdate and calculated age where you choose to provide them. Do not publish a private home address or information you do not want other users to see.
3. Why We Use Personal Data
To create and operate your account and provide the service.
To allow football networking, recruitment, messaging and profile discovery.
To provide safety, abuse prevention, reporting and moderation.
To secure TransferPals, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms and Community Guidelines.
To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
To improve the service using proportionate operational information.
4. Legal Bases
Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to perform our contract with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and protecting TransferPals, required by law, or based on consent where consent is required. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
5. Weekly Top 3
TransferPals may calculate a weekly activity ranking for Players and Coaches using activity such as unique profile views, contacts or messages received, likes and comments. This feature is intended for discovery and community engagement. It is not used to make legal, employment or similarly significant decisions about you.
6. Service Providers And Sharing
TransferPals uses service providers to host and operate the app, including infrastructure, authentication, database, storage and content delivery services. Data may also be shared when you choose to publish it, when necessary to investigate safety issues, or where required by law. We do not sell personal data to advertisers.
7. International Processing
Some service providers may process data outside Ireland or the European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards should be used for international transfers.
8. Retention
We keep personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to provide TransferPals, protect users, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and maintain security. When an account is deleted, related account data is deleted or anonymised where technically and legally appropriate. Limited records may need to be retained where required by law, security, fraud prevention or dispute handling.
9. Your Data Protection Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive certain data in portable form, and complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission. Requests can be submitted through the TransferPals Legal & Support form while signed in.
10. Security
We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and report suspicious activity promptly.
11. Age
TransferPals is available to users aged 16 or over. Users aged 16 or 17 are still minors and should use the service with extra care. Users under 16 are not permitted to create an account.
12. Changes
This policy may be updated when the service, technology or legal requirements change. Material changes should be communicated in the app where appropriate.
Effective 14 October 2026
Terms Of Use
These Terms govern your use of TransferPals. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use TransferPals. You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. Users aged 16 or 17 must follow the additional safeguarding rules that apply to younger users.
2. What TransferPals Is
TransferPals is a football networking and recruitment platform. It allows Players, Coaches and Clubs or Teams to create profiles, discover each other, publish football-related content, advertise opportunities and communicate within the platform.
3. TransferPals Is Not Your Agent Or Employer
TransferPals does not guarantee trials, contracts, employment, selection, payment, eligibility, registration or the accuracy of claims made by other users. Users and clubs are responsible for carrying out their own checks before entering any football, employment, coaching, financial or other arrangement.
4. Account Responsibilities
Do not impersonate another person, player, coach or club.
Do not create misleading recruitment opportunities.
Do not share access to your account or misuse another person's account.
Keep profile information reasonably accurate and current.
5. Content You Upload
You remain responsible for content you upload. You confirm that you have the rights needed to post it. You give TransferPals a limited licence to host, display, reproduce and technically process that content only as needed to operate and promote the service and its features.
6. Messaging And Meetings
Use messaging for legitimate football-related communication. Users are responsible for their own decisions about trials, meetings and recruitment. Use sensible precautions for in-person meetings and do not send money or sensitive identity documents to people you do not trust.
7. Prohibited Use
You may not use TransferPals for harassment, hate, discrimination, threats, sexual exploitation, scams, fraud, spam, malware, unlawful activity, impersonation, doxxing, unauthorised commercial scraping, or content that violates another person's rights.
8. Moderation
TransferPals may review reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend or close accounts where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with law or maintain the service. Where appropriate, users may request a review through the Legal & Support form.
9. Availability
We aim to keep TransferPals available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, TransferPals is not responsible for decisions, agreements, conduct or losses arising from interactions between users, clubs, coaches or third parties outside our direct control.
11. Irish And EU Consumer Rights
These Terms do not remove mandatory consumer or data protection rights that apply to you. Irish law applies where legally permitted, subject to any mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
12. Account Deletion
You can permanently delete your account from your Profile. Deletion may not immediately remove information that must be retained for legal, security or dispute-handling purposes.

TransferPals provides reporting tools so users can flag accounts, behaviour or content that may break the law, these Terms or the Community Guidelines.
What To Report

Fraud, scams, impersonation or fake recruitment.
Sexual exploitation or abusive content.
Privacy violations, doxxing or misuse of personal information.
Illegal content or activity.
Spam or manipulation of platform features.
How Reports Are Reviewed
Reports may be reviewed by the TransferPals owner or authorised moderators. We may consider the reported material, surrounding context, relevant account history, safety risk and applicable rules. A report does not automatically mean a violation occurred.
Possible Actions
Depending on the circumstances, TransferPals may take no action, issue a warning, remove content, limit features, restrict contact, suspend an account, close an account, preserve relevant records, or refer a matter to appropriate authorities where necessary.
Urgent Or Illegal Content
TransferPals is not an emergency service and does not continuously monitor all content or messages. If there is an immediate danger, contact emergency services. Content that you reasonably believe is illegal should be reported with enough information for it to be located and assessed.
Review Of A Moderation Decision
If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, use the Legal & Support form and select Moderation. Include the relevant account, content or report details and explain why you believe the decision should be reviewed.
Abuse Of Reporting
